It means so much that you are taking time out of your day to spend some time with me. I am Kelly Story, aka Gaga. I am married to my lifelong love, JW. We have three beautiful children who have brought us 3 more in their spouses. We are the very proud grandparents of one little boy, Calvin, who is the light of our lives.

I am basically a little bit of calm and crazy. If there has ever been an art, I probably have tried it. From painting to needle felting to whatever you can think of, I have tried it.

I learned to sew at a young age by sitting at my grandmother and mother’s sides watching and absorbing. It has led to a life of creating clothing, bedding, theater costumes, and a couple of bridal gowns. Somehow I always go back to my pencils.

When I was very young, I would love to sit and color and try to draw the pictures I had seen in coloring books. A blank piece of white paper was a dream come true to me. Over the years I have worked to try to become more realistic with my work. It’s still growing. I love creating a memory with just some pencils and a simple piece of paper.

When my father was in the Air Force, he met someone who did pencil drawings of me as a child. Those images still look the same as they did all those years ago. It goes to prove that a photo may change color and vibrancy, but a drawing never will.
